The Cubs

Now that the cubbies are winning and chipping away at the Brewers lead, it's time to talk about their chances of winning the world series. As you know, or should know, it has been 99 years since the cubs have won the world Series. i think that this is their time. They have got an all star line up with Derrek Lee, Alfonso Soriano, Aramis Ramirez, and Cliff Floyd. they also have their best pitching staff in years. They have their ace, Carlos Zambrano, who just became the first national league pitcher to win 12 games. they also have Ted Lilly, Jason Marquis, and Rich Hill who have all conributed greatly to the team. new hot bats have brought the Cubs to be a contender. Koyie Hill, is a great player who you can always count on for an RBI. also, Felix Pie has brought new hope to this legendary ball club. and now, the cubs have just aquired Jason Kendall from the A's. and now, finally, things are looking up for the Cubs.
